Rising singer Gloria Bugie has made serious allegations against a well-known music producer, claiming he refused to return her song after she declined to engage in a sexual relationship with him.
Bugie stated that she had fully paid for her studio recording time but faced manipulation instead.
“A big music producer refused to give me my song because I refused to sleep with him yet I had fully paid him for the studio recording time fees,” Gloria Bugie said during her interview on TGalaxy TV’s ‘The Deep Talk With Mr. Henrie’ show.
Signed under Hitboss Management, Gloria Bugie is one of the most trending artists this year, gaining popularity for her hit song “Nyash.”
Her accusations reflect a troubling trend in the music industry, where many female artists have spoken out about facing sexual manipulation from male singers, songwriters, and producers in exchange for music opportunities.
Bugie’s experiences highlight the challenges female artists often face in pursuing their careers.
She hopes that by sharing her story, she can inspire others to speak out against similar experiences and advocate for a safer and more respectful environment in the music industry.
