The Ghetto Film Project, a non-government organization in Naguru, is using film to change society; not just with the movies they are making, but getting actors and crew members involved in community based activities. Founded in 2013 by filmmaker George Stanley Nsamba, the organization that celebrates 3 years next month on 20th July has changed the perception of film and filmmaking using film as a means for social change.
Last week but one, they donated scholastic materials and new clothes to over 60 kids under the organization courtesy of Medvin Pharmaceuticals together with electric lamps and other house-hold materials but this past Saturday’s (4th July 2016) hair cut was different.
