Tecno Mobile has officially launched its latest flagship phone, the Phantom 8 in Uganda just days after it was unveiled globally in Dubai.
The premium mobile device was launched at an event held at City Square which was headlined by popular musician Geosteady. The singer spiced up the launch ceremony as he excited revelers that had converged at the Square with some of his popular songs like “Owooma”, “Tokendeeza” and “African Baibe” among others. There was also entertainment from a plethora of upcoming singers and comedians.
To further light up the day, Tecno rewarded some of its lucky customers that participated in its week-long Phantom 8 Presale activations with home appliances like Flat screen TVs, percolators, and blenders among others while other revelers received Tecno-branded goodies like t-shirts, caps and balls.
The Tecno Phantom 8 boasts of a 20 megapixels front camera with a smart dual selfie flash which ensures bright photos even in a low light environment. It also spots a diamond style design that comes with 3D Lighting, unibody metal edge, a 2.5 D Drip Screen-curved battery cover, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
It is retailing at Ugx 1,220,000 and is available at different outlets across the country.
