Before even Harunah Kebba could jump out of the Taxi that was taking him away from Namboole after being sacked as The Saints head coach yesterday, the league debutants have appointed George ‘Best’ Nsimbe as their new manager.
The ex-KCCA, Victors and Azam FC tutor has been on the Saints’ trail since being relieved of his duties at Azam fc even after they won the 2015 CECAFA Kagame Cup that was in Tanzania.
The development was confirmed through the Club’s official Facebook page. “George Best Nsimbe has been unveiled The Saints Head Coach effective September 25th 2015,” they wrote, before adding that the details of his appointment will be revealed soon. However, sources close to him suggest that he has signed a one year contract with the Namanve based club.
Nsimbe’s experience isn’t questionable in Ugandan football having led KCCA FC to three league titles.
His first game in charge will be against bottom side Maroons FC on Saturday, October 3rd.
George ‘Best’ Nsimbe’s profile according to Kawowo:
