News reaching our desk indicates that New Eagles boss Geoffrey Lutaaya and his wife Irene Namatovu were attacked by robbers on their way from a show that was held in Kanoni, Gomba last night.
We have learnt that Lutaaya, his wife, Sasha Brighton and other group members were heading back to Kampala before they bumped up into a gang of unknown armed robbers who forced them out of their Alphard car registration number UAY 544Q and took off with it along with their personal belongings.
However, we are not yet sure if they were harmed in the process. Our efforts to reach them for a comment were fruitless since their phones were all switched off
