Uganda Cranes Captain Geoffrey Massa has finally joined Baroka Football Club from Bloemfontein Celtics where he barely had playing time last season. Like Onduparaka FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League, Baroka FC too is a newly promoted side to South Africa’s Absa Premier League.

Massa allegedly fell out with his bosses at the Free States club despite still having two years left to his contract with them. He now joins the Bakgaga where he penned a one year deal that is open for extension depending on his performance.

“I am happy to sign with the club. I am in Johannesburg and hope to begin work immediately,” the former Pretoria University striker asserted.
