Musician Geoffrey Lutaaya is in a fresh debt scandal that could land him in jail if not resolved very soon.
According to reports, Lutaaya is accused of defaulting payment of Ugx 8Million to a one Dickson Sewankambo, a music promoter.
Dickson, the proprietor of Dick Production, alleges that Lutaaya received the said sum on behalf of the original Eagles Production for two upcountry shows last year; one in Lukaya and another in Kabwohe, for which they were a no-show.
Dickson further alleges their failure to turn up for the shows resulted in losses as angry fans destroyed his sound equipment for failure to bring the musicians on stage.
Dickson has since filed a lawsuit against Lutaaya seeking to be compensated. Court has ordered Lutaaya to file his defense in fifteen days.
