De Nu Eagles boss, Geoffrey Lutaaya, shocked mourners when he lashed out at fellow musicians and chased them from his father’s funeral yesterday in Masaka.
Lutaaya who accused some of the musicians mainly from Golden Band, of being pretenders chased them hurling insults at them and saying that they have always wanted to kill him and that they are pretending to care about his loss.
Mourners were taken aback as the Tuli Luno singer started calling out names and ordering the musicians to leave his father’s funeral.
He stopped them from laying a wreath on the coffin that contained his father’s body. Some left in shock and vowed never to support him again. Lutaaya was then calmed down by relatives and taken to back to his seat.
Lutaaya’s father Mzee Nelson Kaboggoza, 92, passed on passed away on Saturday evening after a long battle with cancer and high blood pressure.
He was buried last evening in Masaka. We will keep you posted.
