News coming in is that Viola hit maker, Geo Steady is bitter with the people behind the Elly Wamala tribute concert for allegedly refusing to put him on the official poster.
The official poster for the concert has musicians like Afrigo Band, Radio and Weasel, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Aziz Azion, Remah Namakula among others but does not include Geo Steady.
It was previously rumored that Geo Steady had been barred from performing on this concert following an earlier court battle with the Elly Wamala estate over copyright infringement. However, it has been revealed that he will be given a chance to grace the event if he behaves.
It’s should be remembered that Geo Steady is one of the few musicians that have redone Elly Wamala’s songs and made it a hit.
The Elly Wamala tribute concert is slated for Friday 12th December at Serena hotel.
