Uganda’s first son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has made a comeback on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) after nearly a week of absence.
On Thursday, Gen. Muhoozi announced his return with a simple but energetic tweet: “I’m back!” This marks the resumption of his well-known spontaneous and occasionally controversial posts that have gained significant attention over the years.
His last activity on X was on January 10, 2025, when he took an unexpected break from the platform after being an active user for the past decade.
Despite the platform reportedly trimming some of his follower count during his absence, Gen. Muhoozi was warmly received by his loyal supporters.
Many expressed excitement and support in the comments, reaffirming his strong presence on social media.
Gen. Muhoozi remains one of the most prominent figures in Uganda’s political and social circles, and his tweets often spark lively debates among his followers.
