A section of rapper Navio’s fans and some critics recently came out strongly against the venue of his concert. The people were disappointed in the singer for having a concert in a very small space yet he has been in the game for more than 15 years.
At first, the singer didn’t want to explain to fans since his decision was final, but today at a press conference gearing up to the show on September 9th, the singer came out about the issue. According to the Njogereza singer, Garden City is the ideal place for his concert this year because it can take up to 7,000 fans.
“Last time we made a mistake and went to the old side of rooftop. This time we are taking the parking area and it can take up to 7,000 people and this will be the best place to have the show this year,” he said.
Some believe that Navio’s choice of venue was triggered by what happened at his day time concert at Kati Kati that flopped over a year ago, the singer decided to hold another concert this time at Garden City rooftop which is smaller with less risk for flopping.
