Fusion Band

Formed in November 2009 with experienced members from other bands, Fusion was one of the best, however the proprietor of the Entebbe based band Captain Chris Kassami has decided to disband the Water Front band. The band which comprised of 30 talented members of Congolese, Ugandan, Kenyan and Tanzanian origin had survived on diversity but this didn’t last long as it is now no more.

Insider sources have it that the band has not been making any money for the owner. At one point he fired some of the members to have a lighter bill at the end of the month, but it still didn’t work out for him. Kassami whose band was good at fusing many copyright songs including Country Music, Jazz, R&B plus Reggae will be hiring out his machines to potential music promoters so that he can keep them in use.

Fina Musanyalaze one of the members revealed her plan b as remixing all her old songs in order to survive in the harsh Ugandan music environment.

We will keep you posted.
