Fuse ODG wins Best African Act at MOBO Awards 2014 (Full List Of winners)

This years Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards had singers Jessie J, Mel B, Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos lighting up the red carpet to kick the event in motion.

Jessie J also got the event to an exciting start by opening with a medley of her songs Bang Bang and Burning Up.

UK based Ghanaian international musician, Fuse ODG, won the Best African Act, making it the second successive time he’s grabbing that award.

The 19th MOBO Awards saw Sam Smith scooping the highest number of awards, including Album of the Year.

MOBO Best HipHop: Krept and Konan

MOBO Best RnB/Soul: Sam Smith

MOBO Best Gospel: Living Faith Connection Choir

MOBO Best Jazz: Zara McFarlane

MOBO Best Grime Act: Stormzy (In association with BBC Radio 1Xtra)

MOBO Best Newcomer: Ella Eyre (In association with HTC)

MOBO Best Male: Sam Smith

MOBO Best Female: Jessie J

MOBO Best International: Beyoncé

MOBO Best Video: Skepta

MOBO Best Song: Sam Smith

MOBO Best Album: Sam Smith

MOBO Inspiration Award: Idris Elba
