This years Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards had singers Jessie J, Mel B, Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos lighting up the red carpet to kick the event in motion.
Jessie J also got the event to an exciting start by opening with a medley of her songs Bang Bang and Burning Up.
UK based Ghanaian international musician, Fuse ODG, won the Best African Act, making it the second successive time he’s grabbing that award.
The 19th MOBO Awards saw Sam Smith scooping the highest number of awards, including Album of the Year.
