Fun factory comedy group last evening filled up Kampala Serena Hotel during their Grand Return show after two years.
All the tables in Victoria hall were filled up while Serena management had to bring in more seats to accommodate the stranded people standing in the corridors.
On the stage, the comedy outfit outdid themselves on stage with several skits surrounding society.
They did skits about the war between Russia and Ukraine, they did skits about Covid as well as the political atmosphere in Uganda.
Some of the other skits came from their weekly Mizigo Express on Pearl Magic and some of the best from their previous weekly shows at National Theatre.
Despite the glitch in sound, the audience fun factory left the audience in stitches with not just the skits but the outfits as well.
The different personalities in the group that has been in existence for over ten years exhibited maturity at every given chance that even other members were seen laughing.
The show which started at 7:30 with artiste Yo Kuki being the opening act ended at 1:30am with very many staying around to watch the closing performances which came from Kabuye Ssemboga who did Songs like Fahima, Kangume and Ebisanyi while Chance Nalubega didn’t want to leave the stage with the audience’s warm reception.
Other comedians who supported Fun factory included Daniel Omara and Teacher Mpamire.
This show has marked the beginning of more weekly shows that will be happening at National Theatre every Thursday like it was the case previously before Covid.
