Guests in the Total Uganda VIP hospitality tent at the just concluded Kampala City Festival were left without ribs after popular stand-up comedy group Fun Factory cracked them.

Drama started when Richard Twangye, Tindi and Hannington Bugingo, teased the guests to perform traditional dances from various regions of Uganda to win an assortment of prizes that had been lined up for grabs! The teasing and dance trials were spiced up with jokes about the guests’ dance moves. Their jokes left several guests with bouts of laughter and tears of joy.

In addition to the fun by comedians, Total put a dancing competition for guest at its tent. Winners were rewarded with several prizes including; gas cylinders, and Total branded goodies.

Earlier on, Total Uganda had dazzled revelers at the festival with its amazing float on Kampala and Buganda Road. The float which fabricated by Tank and Tanks caused amusement because it inspired many to own a TotalGaz gas cylinder with which to prepare great food.

This year, Total Uganda invested up to shs100 million in the Kampala City Festival. At the unveiling of Total as a Platinum sponsor, in August this year, Lois Aber, Marketing Communication and Innovation Manager Total Uganda said, “We have actively participated in the festival since 2013, and every year our sponsorship has grown. We started small by simply providing a safe parking hub for the fire brigade and police, to where we became a Gold sponsor in 2014 and now as Platinum sponsors under our TotalGaz brand.”

The city festival is a highly anticipated annual event that brings together all the people of Kampala to celebrate their city. This year’s festival is estimated to have attracted over two million revelers from as far as Kenya, Burundi and Rwanda.
