The 2015/2016 Proline Soccer academy awards gala and dinner was held at Piato Restaurant along Lumumba Avenue in Kampala over the weekend. Among the winners was Bebe Cool’s son Alpha Thierry Ssali who scooped the Proline Soccer academy player of the season award on the night while Mark Mujuni was the most improved academy player.
On the same night, Alpha Thierry also revealed that he would prefer to play for the Manchester United and not Arsenal as his dad (Bebe Cool) would wish him to. “I want to play for Manchester United, not Arsenal,” the award winning lad revealed as quoted on the Proline FC official Facebook page.
In the senior team (Proline FC), also newly promoted to the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL), Madela Joseph won the Most Valuable Player accolade whereas Edris Lubega walked away with a the top scorers golden boot.
