The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has warned fans against ticket fraud that is always a common case on big match days like the coming one on Saturday, 13th June when Uganda takes on Botswana at Namboole in Group D of the 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
The federation has urged fans to buy tickets from the named outlets and not anywhere else or from individuals.
“Fans are urged to buy their tickets early and only at the designated selling points to avoid the last minute hustle,” FUFA acting marketing director, Esther Musoke told Kawowo. “Only the 120,000/- tickets come with a free Uganda Cranes jersey, parking sticker and are sold at FUFA House and Airtel shops.”
The tickets cost Ushs 20,000 for ordinary, 50,000 for VIP and 120,000 for the VVIP. The tickets are already at their selling points.
