The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has spoken out on Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic as regards to his future with the national team. The development follows a big wave media rumor that has linked the Serbian with several clubs around the continent.
Despite failure to lead Uganda into the 2015 AFCON finals, Micho has attracted the attention of many clubs around the continent from countries like South Africa and Sudan.
“Milutin Sredojevic is still the head coach of the Uganda Cranes despite recent media reports linking him with clubs on the African Continent. He also still has six months on his contract with FUFA”, reads a statement on the federation’s official website.
The federation also says that the Serbian is on a working trip in Europe where he plays a big role creating good partnership between FUFA and other federations in Europe. Micho also affirmed his position on the national team as he pledged his loyalty.
“I am still loyal, focused, committed, dedicated and working hard towards football development in Uganda. I believe in the knowledge and leadership of the FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo. My desire to promote Ugandan football is insatiable”, Micho said.
