The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has cautioned clubs and players to follow the stipulated guidelines during this transfer window.

Through the competitions director, Ali Mwebe, the local football governing body advised all clubs and players to follow the right transfer rules and regulations. The message was conveyed during the weekly press conference on Wednesday at the FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala.

“We warn clubs and players with intentions to breach running contracts to desist from the habit or else they will face the consequences,” Mwebe said.

Mwebe went ahead to cite the FUFA player transfer Article 21, section 6 D that highlights the inducement of breach of contracts that are valid and running.

The transfer window officially opened on 1st July 2015 and will close on the 25th September 2015.
