After two months without action, the FUFA Azam premier league returns today with four games set to be played on match day 16 of the 2014/2015 season.

At the heart of Kampala, 16-time record champions SC Villa host Sadolin Paints from Jinja. In front of Azam TV cameras, the Blues will entertain the Painters whose first leg at the Bugembe stadium in Jinja ended prematurely, however, SC Villa got the three points in a boardroom decision by the league committee.

Villa’s new signings in the names of Augustine Nsumba, Modest Aloro (right back), and Jimmy Mukumbya are some of the new faces expected to feature in the engagement.

Sadolin Paints will look to team captain Allan Oreyk, midfield Peter Katumba and goal keeper Muhammed Didi among others for inspiration.

Elsewhere, defending champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) are away to Entebbe FC at the Bugonga stadium. The yellows will be without the services of Ronnie Kisekka while new signings Savio Kabugo, Francis Olaki and Michael Birungi return to training but could be subjected to late fitness tests.

Both sides lost head coaches before the official break of the first round of the season who chose to seek greener pastures with George ‘Best’ Nsimbe settling at Azam F.C while Matia Lule joined Stand F.C in the Tanzanian premier league.

Nsiimbe was succeeded by his former assistant Abdallah Mubiru at KCCA while heroic former goalkeeper Abu Kigenyi replaced Lule at Entebbe. After beating Cosmos De Bafia in the CAF champions’ league by 1-0 on Saturday, KCCA will look to be the better fit side to win this one.

In Lugzi, the Tax Collectors of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) will host Jinja based side Bul F.C at the Mehta stadium. URA’s Senkoomi Sam and Kyeyune Saidi have been ruled out due to injuries.

Meanwhile in Bombo at the Bombo Military Barracks Stadium, army side Simba F.C will host relegation strugglers of Rwenshama.
