Friday Night Lights grand finale is on this evening and that means we are saying goodbye to basketball themed Friday evenings, at least not until the next FNL-Basketball season resumes again.
It is a somber feeling as most of us now have to find something else to occupy our Friday evenings. After a long 8 weeks of fun filled Friday evenings, it seemed like it would go on forever, but then again even all good things come to an end.
On a brighter note, however, the organisers of event have promised to make this evening an epic one. As usual there will be plenty of entertainment, but this time round it has been beefed up. A whole lot of artistes including Irene Ntale, Ruyonga, JB, The Mith, Patrobas, Yung Mullo and the GoodLyfe duo have been lined up to perform this evening.
As we all say goodbye to #FNLBBall4, the organisers of the event took time to thank everyone that made this season of Friday Night Lights Basketball a memorable one.
In a heartfelt blog post, they wrote;
“To all the artists who agreed to come and entertain our wonderful fans, we say Thank you and keep the music coming.
The wonderful team at M- idea, for always making sure that FNL is in everyone’s faces, we highly appreciate your work and efforts. The real FNL team, the ones who do the running and around making sure everything is in place for all the events, banange, you people are awesome.
Finally to you our very loyal fans, the backbone of this whole event, you are what FNL is all about and we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for sticking with us.”
