Young rapper Fresh Kid is set to embark on a new academic journey as he transitions to high school next year.
The 12-year-old singer, who recently completed his primary education at Kampala Parents School, has secured a scholarship to attend Cambridge International School, a significant milestone in his budding career and education.
The scholarship was facilitated by former Minister Nakiwala Kiyingi, who revealed that she had personally reached out to the school’s administrators to ensure the young star’s admission.
Speaking during Fresh Kid’s recent show over the weekend, Nakiwala praised the artist’s talent and expressed her pride in his achievements.
“Patrick, you are a lucky child because I have already spoken to the administrators at Cambridge International School, and they have agreed to offer you a scholarship. You will now become an international musician,” she said, addressing the crowd.
