While Fresh Kid, Uganda’s freshest and youngest singer still faces resistance from some forces to hang his microphone and first persue school, legendary singer who with all the experience and knowledge about the industry Jose Chameleone thinks it is possible for Fresh Kid to study while he still performs to support his livelihood.
Jose Chameleone while on his live Facebook video yesterday advised Fresh Kid to stick to school but also advised him to keep his music dream alive. Jose said ” There are a lot of stars that started young and still managed school. The likes of Bow Wow started very young and still managed to come out responsible citizens. I advise the kid’s parents to keep him in school but also not let him rest his career”
This comes after state minister Nakiwala Kiyingi banned Fresh Kid from performing and only gave him holiday seasons to sing which so many Ugandans have criticised.
It should be remembered too that Fresh Kid’s parents both fend not from very well established sources and it is Fresh Kid paying for his school fees and also performs to fend for his family basic needs.
