French Montana’s interest in Uganda has grown exponentially following his interaction with local dancers, Triplets Ghetto Kids.
Since learning about them through a viral dance video on the internet, the American musician has travelled to Uganda and shot a video with them and even taken them on tour with him in the US.
During his time in Uganda, Montana learned about challenges of the local people, especially new moms and babies, and made a commitment to improve maternal and child health so children can have an opportunity to live out to their full potential.
The “Unforgettable” star, who previously donated $ 100, 000 to a local health facility in Iganga district, has now met with Ambassador Adonia Ayebare, Uganda’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York to further this cause.
According to Montana, the two met to discuss how they can work together to improve health for mothers and kids in Uganda. The campaign is being spearheaded by Global Citizen, a community committed to social change.
