American super star, French Montana is clearly in love with Uganda. Since he featured the Uganda ghetto kids in his Unforgettable music video, he has kept in touch with Uganda, trying to help wherever he can.
He launched his #Unforgettable Healthcare Campaign, in partnership with Global Citizen’s #2BSTRONG Campaign and Mama Hope in the country befoe he left.
The musician is now planning to donate all the proceeds from his “Famous” remix with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine to an underfunded maternity and children’s health clinic in Uganda, the Suubi Center.
During an interview with CNN, he said that when he came to Uganda, he felt obligated to help. They have so raised a total of $500,000 for Center. “I feel like every woman and child deserves the right healthcare. It shouldn’t be a privilege it should be a right,” Montana said.
