Singer Desire Luzinda finally turned up for questioning at the Police CIID Headquarters in Kubuli yesterday. While there have been rumors that she would be arrested, the singer looked all jolly as she was welcomed by CIID officers at Kibuli.
Desire, spent the better part of her day yesterday, answering several questions from a team of officers about her nude pictures that were leaked by her jilted Nigerian lover Franklin Emuobor a few weeks back.
During the interrogation, Desire informed the officers that Franklin has been calling and threatening to harm her.
Desire also disclosed names of some of Franklin’s closest Ugandan friends who are in the know of such threats and are in touch with the Nigerian.
Referring to him as ‘a dangerous international drug trafficker,’ Desire begged the police to guarantee her security, as she is to go ahead and give more incriminating info about Franklin.
The police assured Desire of her security and told her she was free to go on with her music business without fear that she will be arrested.
Desire who arrived at Kibuli at midday, was in company of some friends and spent over three hours with police detectives.
Police said that Franklin is wanted for illegal possession of a Ugandan passport and distribution of pornographic material in form of Desire’s nude photos.
