After quitting NTV Uganda where he was manning three programmes; NTV Akawungeezi, Tuwaye and Ebigambo Tebitta for almost 15years, Frank Walusimbi has clinched a job with the United Nations.

According to Frank, he will be working as an Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Uganda.

Read Frank Walusimbi’s statement in full:

Folks, I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer UNHCR Uganda For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude. My new role is spanned by humanitarian work and I invite you to contact us should you have an inquiry about refugee matters. Thank you and best wishes.

UNHCR, a UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.

It works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, war or disaster at home.

With his brain brilliance, work ethical and versatility attributes exhibited at his former workplace, Frank Walusimbi’s services as a humanitarian are expected to be excellent.

We wish Frank Walusimbi the best in his new roles and life endeavors.
