Entertainment analyst and critic Frank Ntambi has been released on bail after spending several days in detention.

Ntambi was arrested last week on Friday following a complaint filed by music manager Jeff Kiwa, accusing him of malicious damage.

He was first detained at Kabalagala Police Station before being remanded to Luzira Prison.

This morning, Ntambi appeared before a magistrate and was granted bail upon payment of UGX 500,000 cash. His three sureties satisfied all the required conditions, leading to his release.

The case against Ntambi remains ongoing, with court expected to resume hearings in the coming weeks.
