Frank Gashumba is very disappointed with local tabloid, the Kampala Sun, for reporting false stories about him and has since asked his lawyers to drag the tabloid to courts of law.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Gashumba revealed that the tabloid has unprofessionally and in a manner that is demeaning affected him, his family and business.
“Kampala Sun has been writing false stories about me, my daughter Sheilah and I ignored but enough is enough. I have already instructed a team of Lawyers to open up a case against the tabloid in courts of law for defamation and being unprofessional while reporting about me,” he said.
Gashumba is said to have been angered by their latest edition, in which they reported that the Mali Group owner had been evicted from his office for failure to pay rent.
The motor-mouthed activist intends to sue the Kampala Sun for Ugx 500M in damages and also demands a satisfactory apology from the same tabloid.
