Self-styled motivational speaker and owner of Mali Investments, Frank Gashumba, could well be on his way to standing for presidency come 2016.
The Sisimuka boss who is allegedly part of the conmen that duped investors into losing millions of shillings has revealed that Government is scared of him because he wants to become President.
In a recent interview with a local tabloid, Frank said that he is a better candidate than most for the big seat and for a place in State house. Although he refused to declare his ambitions for the big job, he said that he has many things to take care of and many people to look after. “I am too busy looking at issues that matter and caring for my people to think about becoming president now,” he said in the interview.
Frank is known for watching and listening to several American presidents speeches online while at his office. Sources believe that he could be practicing for Presidency as he waits for the opportune moment to launch his manifesto.
Meanwhile, Frank has been summoned by Police for questioning over a multi-million scam. Police has given him one final summon according to sources. “He has up to Monday March 2nd to show up at Police or he will be taken like a village thief for questioning,” revealed a source.
