Renowned motivational speaker and social commentator Frank Gashumba has showered praise on singer Cindy Sanyu, describing her as one of Uganda’s most naturally gifted artists.
Speaking in a recent interview, Gashumba noted that Cindy’s talent is effortless, comparing her smooth flow to celebrated journalist Nancy Kacungira.
“The way Cindy sings, it’s as if she’s talking. She’s like Nancy Kacungira, they just flow. But there are others you watch and you can see they are forcing it,” Gashumba remarked.
On the often-discussed comparison between Cindy and fellow star Sheebah Karungi, Gashumba emphasized that Cindy stands apart because of her raw, unmatched talent.
“Cindy is different, her talent speaks for itself,” he said.
He also used the opportunity to rally support for Cindy’s upcoming concert, urging Ugandans to turn up in big numbers later this month to celebrate one of the finest vocalists the country has produced.
