In his recent weekly broadcast on Radio4, outspoken social commentator Frank Gashumba shared strong opinions on marriage, claiming he is not suited for it due to the demands he associates with the commitment.
Gashumba, who has built a reputation for his no-nonsense commentary on various social issues, labeled marriage as “a lot of work” and suggested it involves staying up late for what he refers to as “night football.”
Gashumba explained that he views marriage as a constant responsibility, where a man is expected to fulfill his wife’s desires at all hours. “I cannot get married. What will a woman give me?” he questioned. “When you marry, you spend the entire night awake, I don’t have that energy. When you get married, you must stay awake to solve those bedroom matters every night, whenever she yearns you have to fulfill. I cannot do that.”

Reflecting on a past relationship, Gashumba shared a personal experience with a woman he dated who had a notably high libido.
He described how the constant demands affected him, leaving him exhausted and unable to keep up. “Each time you entered bed, she wanted some. At 3am, at 5am – you would head to work very tired and at one moment I felt like I was gonna die,” he revealed.
