Frank Gashumba is said to have walked away an unhappy man at the recently concluded Miss Uganda beauty event not because her adopted daughter Aisha Nabukeera lost but was rather discontented with the gifts that were given to the winners.
According to those who interacted with Gashumba at the event, the owner of Mali Group blasted the organizers for failure to get better prizes calling them ‘small gifts’.
“I don’t think those prizes were worthy the competition, the organizers should have engaged more sponsors to get bigger gifts that are worth it,” Gashumba said.
It should be noted that the Miss Uganda winner Zahara Muhammed Nakiyaga won a brand new Raum while the runners-up won Shs 1 million each.
