Match day six of the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) saw 8 teams play to a goalless draws at the different stadiums.

The most epic match came at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium in Wankulukuku where Express FC hosted Uganda Revenue Authority SC with hopes of climbing to the top of the table as well as breaking a four season long jinx against the visitors.

Coming into yesterday’s game, the Red Eagles had not won against the Tax Collectors in the last four seasons and the story wasn’t any different by the blow of the final whistle with the two sides sharing the spoils in a goalless draw.

The result kept both sides in their respective positions on the table. Express 3rd with 10 points from 6 games and URA 6th with 8 points from 4 games.

Elsewhere, Jinja based Bul fc managed to hold SC Villa to a o-0 draw at Nakivubo Stadium. The two sides played to a 2-2 draw last season when Bul fc paid a visit to the same grounds, a result that put the Jogoos title hopes in balance.

Villa are 8th on the log with 8 points from 5 matches while Bul fc are 12th with 5 points from a similar number of games.

At Kakindu Stadium in Jinja, Police and newly promoted side JMC Hippos also shared the spoils as well as Simba in their home match against Maroons.

Police FC are still 4th after collecting 10 points from 6 matches while JMC are 11th having pocketed 5 points from 4 games.

Simba and Maroons remain in the relegation zone with the later sitting bottom of the log with just 1 point from 4 games while Simba are just a point higher in the 14th place.

Match day six results in summary:

Express F.C 0-0 URA F.C
S.C Villa 0-0 BUL F.C
JMC Hippos F.C 0-0 Police F.C
