Price Kiid is a Congolese born Ugandan multitalented Singer, Rapper and Songwriter

He was born in Mukelo Merveille on october 16th 1997 in a small town of Kiliba northern Kivu located in the Eastern part of the DRC, at the age of four the young star moved with his family to masaka one of Uganda’s towns where his Dad had a job as a french Professeur.

Unfortunately at the time of migration Price Kiid’s parents had divorced and him and his elder brother were living with their single dad.

After a short while the Price Kiid family moved to Kampala the capital city of uganda where his uncle had a band and they performed at different venues.

Still life wasn’t getting any better for their family so they moved to a Refugee camp in the then Hoima District in western Uganda where Price Kiid started his nursery and primary school and later joined secondary school.

Price Kiid was introduced to music at an early age of seven when he was told to start singing in the church choir but shortly removed by his dad because he wanted him to focus on school.

Later in summer 2012 He was introduced to mainstream music when his dad bought an fm radio and Price Kiid started to listening to artist like Gift ov Kaddo, Allan Toniks, chris brown, jason derulo among others

Later in form four Price Kiid started performing at school parties and started practicing writing his own music.

Price Kiid recorded his first song titled “I won’t leave you” in 2016 featuring a friend he had just met after moving to the United States, however this song was not good since he was just learning, shortly school mates at Scranton High School a school where Price Kiid finishes his high school started labeling him as a rapper which forced him to start trying out some rap songs

Price Kiid took 2016 to 2018 to learn and perfect his writing and singing abilities and then officially dropped his first single titled “Juliet and Romeo” in January 2018 which received much love from the listeners, he later dropped “Blindspot” a rap/r&b vibe in early 2019 followed by another pop/r&b with tropical vibes titled “Urban Love”

In 2020 he attacked the African market and dropped two tracks titled “Gadda and Memories” which received a fair exposure and airplay on Ugandan Television and Radio stations such as Urban TV, NBS TV Bukedde TV and Galaxy fm etc.

His 2021 latest project [both Audio and Video] is the It’s You which is so far enjoying an over whelming reception from whoever gets a test of it.

Price Kiid who is now under Selector William’s mentorship, guidance and also doubles as manager has previously done songs Gadda, It’s You, Urban Love, Romeo and Juliet, Time among many others is surely on the raise and a talent to watch.
