Newlywed former Miss Uganda Aisha Salma Nassanga has come out to explain why she married an old zungu man. This comes after she was widely criticized by a section of the public after she walked down the aisle with a one Eric last weekend.
Addressing the criticism recently, Salma explained that love supersedes anything else as she revealed that her zungu man makes her feel complete.
She said: “Love is all that matters! Lucky are those that find a man that treats them like a queen. This manyo u have labeled a pensioner, a jajja, gwenasimye mubona. He loves me unconditionally and I love him. We choose love. I am a better woman because of my Eric.”
The 2003/2004 Miss Uganda wedded Eric in a glamorous wedding that was held in Miami, Florida. She was flanked by her friend Barbara Kimbugwe, also a former Miss Uganda, as the maid of honour when she said “I do”.
Meanwhile, the newly wedded couple is planning to have another wedding ceremony in Uganda very soon.
