Former Miss Uganda Dorah Mwima has spoken out about her battles with fertility.
The Miss Uganda 2008 beauty queen has revealed that she suffered two miscarriages and the doctors told her she would take a very long time to conceive again or even hold a pregnancy but a month later, she conceived her daughter Gabriella.
In a post on her Instagram page, Dorah expressed gratitude to God in a post on her Instagram account for what she termed as her miracle child and prayed to HIM to help barren women out there.
This is what she posted;
“……After 2 miscarriages and the doctor telling me it will take me a very, very long time to conceive again or to hold a pregancy to term due to the trauma my body had undergone, God had another report for me😊. One month after my visit I conceived! 9months later, she was exactly what I had prayed for and more😍
Today, I not only came to say THANK YOU but came back with some prayer requests and took some time to pray for all the barren women that I know of and those I don’t. As women we go through alot. We face silent battles that no one might know or see. I have been on that journey and just to let you know, God hears your prayers and sees each tear that falls. He will never let a righteous tear fall to the ground in vain. It’s time to Trust! Believe! and keep Hope alive!
