After six months of serving at Sports Club Villa, iconic football coach ‘Omulangila’ Sam Simbwa has advised all coaches who once played for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), also formerly known as KCC never to take on a job with the 16-time record champions.
Simbwa who is unhappy with the way fans treated him while at the Villa Park cautioned former KCCA players never to take charges at Villa.
“I advise coaches who played at KCC not to coach Villa,” Simbwa remarked.
He said that the fans always accused him for paving way for KCCA and that all his works were to favour his former club. “I only lost one game while at the club and that was against KCCA. Since then they have accused me of doing everything in favor of KCC just because I played there,” Simbwa explained.
Villa lost to KCCA by 1-0 at the Ssaza grounds in Mityana during their first leg thanks to Paul Muchreezi’s only strike.
Simbwa left the 16-time record champions in a fat spot on the Azam Uganda Premier League table as they stand in second place with 40points from 18games and just 5points behind table leaders as they await the final verdict from the FUFA competitions committee in regard to their prematurely ended game against Express.
