The Katikiro of Buganda Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga is furious about the on going talk that he has invaded all kinds of communities in search of money in a campaign dubbed “Etaafali”. Buganda Kingdom premier (Katikiro) Peter Charles Mayiga has defended his continued fundraising drives, saying they still have many things to do in the kingdom.
“It is the people to support the kingdom until it establishes its financial base. I will continue collecting money in different places as long as people invite me and are willing to give,” the furious Katikiro said.
The Kingdom premier has furthered his fundraising drive and his next target will be Northern Buganda in Luweero, Bombo and Nakasongola.
