The Federation of Motorsport Clubs (FMU) has received a massive boost in a deal worth 20million Uganda shilling of sponsorship from City Tyres ahead of their forth coming annual awards.
The awards are due Friday this week. The 20million was accompanied with a couple of trophies that are going to be given to over 50winners.
Federation president Jack Wavamuno was available to receive the package as the company (City Tyres) promised future sponsorship to the activities of the federation through their Director Abdullahi Ahmed Mandela.
“This partnership will not stop only on these awards but will also include training of rally drivers on technical and safety matters and servicing of their rally cars on a subsidized cost,” reads Abdullahi’s statement in the New Vision.
