News sipping reveals that the recently hired NTV news anchor and Capital FM presenter, Flavia Tumusiime has already put pen to paper with the organizers of the Uganda Festival to be the host of the event scheduled for later this year in New York.
The event that will run from 24th to 26th September chose Flavia because she is one of the best East African Radio and TV personalities.
The organisers made the announcement in a statement that read: “The Festival Team proudly announces that celebrated East African media personality FLAVIA TUMUSIIME has joyfully accepted to grace SUMMER’S ULTIMATE EVENT – The Uganda Festival 2015 in Manhattan – NEW YORK. The talented FLAVIA is a RADIO – TV anchor and a very popular actress, she has co-hosted; the famous Big Brother Africa, a fixture at Capital FM, Channel O VJ and soon NTV’s news anchor at 9.00 PM, she will bring this captivating charm to the most exciting City in the World just like RYAN SEACREST does on New Year’s eve in TIME SQUARE.”
