5. Chillers Pub: I had to start with Chillers because it is nearest to my residential hood in Mukono. This club is unique because even when there is no one inside they keep playing very loud music and the Dj keeps talking and shouting throughout the night mbu ”every one in the club put your hands in the air.”
4. Satellite Beach: Its mainly used for album launches. Satelite beach is so unique because it is the only ‘beach’ that is not a beach. This hangout is located on top of a building.
3. Casa-blanca: Similar to Casa in Kampala it used to be the favorite hang out spot in Mukono for campusers but I think someone must have bewitched it because even when beers were reduced to 2500 compared to Hive’s 3500 the crowd is still small.
2. Hive: Its currently the hottest hangout spot for campusers mainly because of the cute babes there and just like its name, people flock to it like its a bee hive that has honey. The only problem with Hive is that if you are a broke guy you will automatically feel out of place and leave.
Services there are also flexible since they have a room for quickie’s, so if you have to release the days’ stress comfortably its the place to be.
1. Club One: Its the only certified club in Mukono because almost all the rest are just pubs and almost every Wednesday and Friday they bring in top musicians to perform. The downside to this club is that its full of villagers/local babes from Mukono neighbourhood and if you vibe a chic from here the next day you’ll find her frying fish along the road.
