Chameleone’s One Million concert has garnered considerable support, and by the look of things, it might be another milestone achieved for the singer. In the face of criticism and naysayers, the Wale Wale hitmaker remained unshaken and continued to seek support for his very pricey concert.
The latest person to confirm their attendance is the First Lady, Hon. Minister of Karamoja Affairs Janet Museveni. Chameleone made the revelation on social media where he posted:
“Youth empowerment is what we sought and we have been granted. It is such an Honour that the First Lady, Mother,Hon. Minister of Karamoja Affairs to Accept to grace the event that uplifts our fellow Ugandans In this time of Change and Development. With such endorsement and encouragement We must be Happy to be tools to society.”
Proceeds from the concert will be used to build boreholes and pit latrines in the Karamoja region.
