H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museven, the president of the Republic of Uganda together with First Lady, Minister for Karamoja affairs, and Woman MP Ruhama County, Rt. Hon Janet Kataaha Museveni commemorated their 40 years of a successful marriage in style. This happened on the 24th of August 2013 at Nshwerenkye C.O.U in Kiruhura District.
H.E Yoweri K. Museveni got married to Janet Kataaha in 1973 and they have sustained their marriage for 40 good solid years. They decided to commemorate their staying together, tirelessly supporting each other by thanking God and exchanging vows at “Nshwere” church. They all looked like a young couple exchanging those sweet, Kind words for the first time.
The service was led by ArchBishop Stanley Ntagali among other church leaders like the Bishop for south Ankole John Muhanguzi and Rev. Canon James Hende to mention but a few.
The old couple was escorted by a number of family members including Brig. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and his better-half Charllote Muhoozi. And the celebrations were continued to their home in Rwakitura Kiruhura district.
