Yesterday’s meeting at FUFA came to a resolution that Micho should be fired with immediate effect. This resolution was implemented by FUFA, and an interim coach was appointed. BigEye.ug has learned that Allan Ssewanyana will be the new Uganda Cranes coach for the time being, and will be seconded by the one and only, Lumansi of CBS.

“No one in Uganda is more knowledgeable about soccer as the duo. We believe they have the capability to steer the team forward and to deliver the results. Please support them,” FUFA said in an official late night communication.

While accepting his appointment, Ssewanyana had this to say; “this is a challenging position, but with the team at hand, my friend Lumansi as second-in-command, we shall take Uganda Cranes Forward, the time is now.”

We wish Ssewanyana all the best in his new position.
