Ugandan rising star Fik Gaza shared his gratitude for Jamaican dancehall artist Konshens’ recent commendation.
Gaza expressed feeling honored by Konshens’ recognition, particularly amidst criticism labeling him and his peers as mere “ghetto boys” rather than legitimate artists.
“I felt so much honored because there were so many enemies at that time. They demeaned us claiming that we are just ghetto boys not artists. It such a good feeling for an artist like Konshens to come out and recognize you as a special talent,” Fik Gaza stated during Urban TV interview.
Moreover, Gaza revealed exciting news of a collaboration between himself and Konshens, stating, “Yes, we met and we are doing a song together in the studio.”
The announcement marks a significant milestone for Fik Gaza’s burgeoning music career, as he continues to gain recognition both locally and internationally.
Fik Gaza is popularly known for his song “Banana Remix” featuring top Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone.
