Fik Fameica has come out to address speculation surrounding the date of his upcoming concert, boldly stating that he is not intimidated by fellow artist Jose Chameleone planning his own event on the same day.

Fameica is scheduled to hold his much-anticipated concert on August 22nd, a date that has also been linked to Chameleone’s rumored show at Kololo Airstrip.
While the overlap raised eyebrows among fans and industry insiders, Fik insists he’s not backing down.
“There’s a difference between fear and respect. I respect Chameleone, but I don’t fear him,” Fik told media. “I won’t be intimidated just because he put his show on the same date as mine. I don’t have that sort of fear that would make me cancel.”
The “Buligita” hitmaker emphasized that he has his own loyal fanbase and a strong catalogue of hits to his name, which gives him confidence regardless of who else is performing that day.
“I’m a great artist too, and I have fans who believe in me. I’m not scared of any artist,” he added.
The development sets up an unexpected clash of titans, with both artists commanding large followings in Uganda. Whether this will split fans or add spice to the entertainment calendar remains to be seen. One thing is certain: Fik Fameica is standing his ground.
