Not only defined by her striking beauty, seasoned actress and philanthropist Shakira Ninsiima has once again organized the 2nd edition of Fathers in the Spotlight following a successful debut show at Theater La Bonita last year.
Ninsiima Shakira is known to be the first Ugandan to fully acknowledge and celebrate Father’s Day as an annual event.
Born and raised in Western Uganda, under Shaky Events, the actress has revealed that she was motivated by her childhood background growing up with a stepfather who treated her with kindness and love.
The family-minded diva has unveiled a lineup of artists ahead of the 2nd edition at Theater LaBonita on 21st June 2025. Part of the proceeds will go to charity, as with the previous edition.
Hosted by Comedy Store’s Kalera and AjSwag 256, the star-studded lineup will feature Ronald Mayinja, Carol Nantongo, Levixone, Aziz Azion, Dax Vibes, Karole Kasita, Bruno K, Okello Okello, and several surprise acts.
Shakira Ninsiima’s acting career spans her time with The Ebonies, where she spent one year, before starring in Urban Life on Pearl and several DSTV series.
