Isma Olaxes, also known as Isma Lubega Tusubira, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting incident by an unidentified assailant armed with a submachine gun.

During a televised interview, Hajji Muhammad Kasajja recounted a heart-wrenching conversation with his son, where Isma tearfully questioned his prospects of fatherhood.

“One source of pain for my son Isma Olaxes was his inability to have children. One day, he came to me crying and asked, ‘Dad, will I ever be able to have children?‘” revealed Hajji Muhammad Kasajja.

The circumstances surrounding Isma’s murder remain shrouded in mystery, with no clear motives identified to date. The tragic event unfolded as Isma was returning to his residence in Kyanja Central Zone, a suburb of Kampala, on the fateful night of Saturday, May 6, 2024.

Isma Olaxes, who hailed from a devout Muslim family, was one of 40 siblings raised by a Tabliq man. Despite his large family and upbringing, Isma grappled with the deeply personal challenge of infertility, which weighed heavily on him.

Prior to his foray into the world of blogging, Isma pursued a career as a professional painter and attained a Bachelor of Commerce degree through external studies at Makerere University. Following a period of residing in Sweden, where he undertook odd jobs, Isma returned to Uganda and eventually found his niche in the blogging sphere.

Renowned for his controversial commentary, Isma Olaxes garnered significant attention and a substantial following through his online presence.

However, beneath his outspoken persona lay a man plagued by inner turmoil, including the unfulfilled desire to become a father.
