It could be a wave of ‘ratism’ following after the wave of ‘feminism.’ The rats seem not to want anything to do with hiding in the kitchens of Nandos, they believe their time has come.
On Thursday morning, the 7th of May, a rat sent customers jumping on their tables at Nandos after it rushed out of the kitchen and put up an amazing circus show for the customers.
James Onen aka Fat Boy of Sanyu Fm was one of those that witnessed the fat rat. Talk of coincidences, a fat rat and a fat boy at the same venue. Speaking as an eye witness, Fat Boy confessed; “LOL a fat rat has been jumping on guys in Nandos. People were scrambling to dodge it. Thankfully it didn’t pass by me. The askari chased it away. LOLZLOLZLOLZLOZ I swear too funny. Hahahahahaha.”
As the African Proverb goes; “Only a stupid rat can be skinny at Nandos.” The fat rat wanted a piece of Fat Boy’s sandwich. He was forced to have it packed after the mini-shock.
Many blamed the fat rat on the failing hygiene at this great Pizzeria location. Nandos may now introduce a Rat Tuesday where you eat a free Rat Pizza or Rat Burger as evidenced by this fat rat. This Thursday saw customers vowing never to eat at Nandos. It was Ratatouile, the Kampala edition.
But it was also a show of cowardice on the part of Fat Boy, a man who comes from the Acholi tribe of fierce warriors. Many heard him cry out; “mummy, mummy..”
Nandos Management quickly sent out for the services of police cats from Nsambya to help arrest the rat. Who says life is easy at eating establishments?
